Your toddler on a journey of discovery

Your Your little toddler is turning 2, and you now have an exploratory toddler! Toddlers quickly become more independent, curious, and love to play with their peers.

Learning and growing through play
Our child-centered methods give your toddler the opportunity to explore, gain experience, and test their boundaries. They'll learn and grow together with friends. Together with you, we'll ensure your toddler develops step by step into a child ready for primary school.

Your toddler learns together with our Bas

When your toddler comes to play with us, they'll quickly make a new friend: Bas. Bas is a doll and experiences all sorts of familiar, ordinary, fun, and even exciting things.

Bas teaches your toddler a lot through play, such as making friends and the concepts of "big" and "small" in the "Bas, Post" theme. While singing, your son or daughter will learn to count and how many candles are on the birthday cake.

After-school care for school children

What do you feel like doing? You decide what you want to do in your free time! Of course, rules and regulations are important at after-school care, but there's also plenty of room for personal input, making independent choices, and playing with peers.

Just like at home
We believe it's important that your child feels at home and has a good relationship with the educational professionals. From participating in an activity together to relaxing after a busy school day: everything is possible with our consultation. Because that's often how it is at home!

Pedagogical Policy

How do we look at children and what does that mean for our pedagogical actions? What do we want to offer children and how do we do that? In the pedagogical policy you can see in one document what Elorah considers important in the care of your child. Such as:

• how do we put your child at ease in the group with peers
• how your child is playfully stimulated in his or her development
• how do we teach your child to make friends
• the rhythm and habits at home are the starting point, how does that work?

Quality

As a parent, choosing childcare can be quite challenging. How do you know the organization you choose is of high quality? Take a tour of the location, see how your childcare provider collaborates with schools, or check the requirements your childcare provider meets. This way, you can get a good idea of what the organization you choose stands for. At Elorah, we're open about our quality, and we're happy to share it with you.

All Elorah locations are regularly inspected and checked by the GGD.

Parent involvement

Elorah has an active parental policy. You can participate in discussions and input about childcare in various ways. Almost every location has a Location Parent Council (LOR). Even at locations without an LOR, you can register as a member. With two or more members, a Parent Council is formed. As a member of the Parent Council, you contribute to discussions and input on matters related to childcare at the location and help organize special activities.

Would you like to join the Location Parent Council at your location? Ask your childcare professional for more information.
