Quality childcare at Elorah
As a parent, choosing childcare can be quite difficult. After all, how do you know that the organization you choose is of high quality? Take a tour of a location, see how the childcare center collaborates with schools, or check which requirements your childcare organization meets. This way, you can get a clear picture of what your chosen organization stands for. At Elorah, we are very open about our quality and are happy to share it with you.
GGD inspection
The municipality is responsible for supervising and enforcing childcare quality requirements; the GGD carries out these inspections. All Elorah locations are regularly inspected and checked by the GGD. They focus on, among other things, parental participation, the quality of pedagogical professionals, and facilities. Having and implementing policies regarding safety and health is also important. All our locations are approved by the GGD.
Our educational professionals
Your child is literally in safe, professional hands. All our pedagogical professionals have child-focused training. They specialize in working with young children and all hold a First Aid (BHV) certificate.
Online academy
We have our own internal training program: an online academy from Kibeo Child Development. Everyone who works with us takes a number of courses annually to deepen and supplement their professional knowledge. In this way, we ensure that group leaders always work with the latest insights into the upbringing and care of children. Several of these modules are mandatory under the Childcare Act, such as Emergency Response, First Aid for Children, and Safety and Health.
Childcare Internal Supervisor
An Internal Childcare Supervisor (IB'er) can be deployed at all Elorah locations. The Childcare IB'er makes a significant contribution to the care that Elorah provides to the children.
The Childcare Special Needs Coordinator (IB'er) guides and coordinates the care of children and supports pedagogical professionals in guiding children. To this end, the Childcare Special Needs Coordinator works alongside the group for a number of hours, allowing a closer bond to develop with both the children and the pedagogical professionals.
The Childcare Special Needs Coordinator (IB'er) also maintains contact with other (care) organizations, such as the youth nurse or the Youth and Family Centre (CJG). In addition, the Childcare Special Needs Coordinator ensures the translation of Elorah's pedagogical policy into daily practice within the group. This keeps the pedagogical professionals' knowledge of the pedagogical policy up to date, which benefits the quality of childcare.
Role and contribution of the pedagogical policy officer
The Childcare Innovation and Quality Act (IKK) sets requirements for the quality of childcare. For instance, the employment of a pedagogical policy officer is mandatory. These employees contribute to the quality of care. They have two important tasks. On the one hand, they focus on the development and implementation of the pedagogical policy. Safety of indoor and outdoor spaces
You will find only certified play and equipment materials with us. Buildings, spaces, and materials, including playground equipment, are regularly inspected by authorized bodies.
